Waitt Radio

Anyone have any expirence with Waitt radio? I have a station looking at it. Their Storq automation system looks pretty neat and I've listened to a couple of their stations - they sound good. Its like the best of both worlds - satellite "jocks" being played off of your local hard drive.

I understand it's pretty good. I haven't heard a station myself using it, but just from what I've heard from others it's a neat deal if you have to not have real locals.

A client station of mine installed the system about 6 months ago, and yes, it is awesome. It sounds live and local, even though it's voicetracked out of nebraska. You can't tell it's not in the same building.

I have delt with several digital systems over the years and I really like the Storq demo that they sent me. I also like the idea of being able to select "live local" vs "live satellite" times. They really try to mold it around each use.

The owner hasn't decided yet but I think it will be this week. If we go with it I'll update you on my thoughts after the install.

Thanks all

I've installed two of them...it's a simple install & their tech support people are great. They'll walk you through the installation & walk the programming folks through the setup. Very impressed with the system, the support & the on air sound. I have nothing bad to say about Waitt...good stuff.
