Yetta has been off this week. Carlos is doing Yetta's regular role and Heidi is trying to do Carlos' job. It is awful! Heidi needs more practice before being an anchor on the weekday morning show (let her sub for Jamie on weekend GMAZ or something). Honestly, Kylie does a very good job of anchoring. Rather than have Kylie do traffic this week, they should have Kylie do the anchoring and let Heidi do traffic as usual.
 
Or they are giving Heidi some real time practice being an anchor by letting her do the morning anchor. She can learn from anchoring in the "big time". BTW, I really, really like Carlos as head anchor. He has a certain charisma about him that I, personally, don't see in Yetta.
 
We are a top 15 market. I don't expect that "practice" happens on a weekday morning show. Perhaps they could have Heidi practice on, say, weekend mornings or Saturday evenings. That said, Yetta is now back and the spark is back in the show. IMHO, Yetta is a great morning anchor. Carlos is okay.
