Wake up with the 92.5FM morning show...

THE
DEATH
OF A
MORNING
SHOW.

(Video includes the same two guys, still coated in yellow goo because their show is still young, being laid to rest.)

The strange thing is, I believe very strongly that they were good...good enough for whoever down the dial to pick them up, leaving Jack in a situation where they wish they hadn't let them go.

Sadly, there's no station down the dial that could use them at the moment...unless Z wants to round them up, but I doubt that very much.
Scott Fox is a mainstay there. (for reasons that I can not discuss here...)

morning show :

-i will post it...
i have heard, scott fox , is on CIDC,mornings, because dad signs the paychecks.

when ever u have that, ( *IF* ) that is true...it is -never- good.
WKSE-FM, janet snyder is another example of the "theory of relativity(LoL)"
and, buffalo/the female demo is "used to her" after all these years, but......
still most likely not the best choice.

i will personally testify ( COMMENTARY) that scott fox, even (Big.IF) qualified
to be a voice in a mega-Market [which i dont believe he is], still does not
make him the best for the drive, in the AM, on FM-103..5 / for starters,
he is NOT a people-person...i have met him, quite a few times, and never
a positive experience. i just stopped saying hi to him at station events.
secondly, an UN_NAMED -x-co worker, i could quote him as being a "hack"
( i agree with this individual)....i am not the biggest fan of this un-named
co worker, but i will take __________ over scott fox, any day.

with ALL that said, i have actually tuned in: and TRIED to listen to scott fox,
and couldnt even tolerate him long enough...and it was the when the station was
playing music i liked, and a guest i was waiting to listen to...
fox, lasted about a quarter of an hour later, then: *HAD*to turn it off !!

Why all the secrets? Why don't you post names?

I wasn't sure if you wanted the world to know your father is employed at sister station CKDX, Mr. Fox.

NAMES

It's not a secret. I worked for him at CKDX for 7 years. The Evanov radio group bought CKDX and moved me to the cidc side.

Yes, Mr. Chapman, SIR!
er...Mr. Gamble's son...

Woud I be correct in saying that *some* radio stations do not wish for more than one on air personality to use the same last name on air, and respectfully, this is why you did not go by the last name of Gamble while your father continued to do so on CKDX?

I assume most stations would want different last names for their on-air staff. 10 minutes before my first shift on CIDC they told me I was going to be called Scott Fox.

*sigh*

sfox typed:
Why all the secrets?

>cause the person that said that, may(or , may not)
want to be embarrassed by the comments...like i am - to a degree.

did i mean what i typed, yes.
every time, i've seen you, not the most friendly...but * i must remember*
u see 1000's of "friends/listeners" and also at WORK. i learned that early,
and continue to respect that...will i be a gent, and wave, sure...but i
know: time and space, belongs to u.

however,
i stand by *what* i said, with regards to on-aire ( and i tried to keep it
PROFESSIONAL, as relating just to work)...although, i meant what i said,
i may have been a little harsh.

but, this wasnt reely directed at u, but JANET, at wkse-fm, was
*given* the gig, and...has reeely over stayed her welcome.

please, shake off my comments , and continue to do your best....
i may not personally *like it* but that doesnt mean u suck.....cheers.

Where is "Tarzan" Dan Freeman these days? That dude was awesome back in the day on "All Hits 680" CFTR. I guess we'll never hear CHR like that ever again. They were the best. Z103.5 is pretty good though, I enjoy their music a lot and some of the DJs there are very good. I wish they were live 24/7. But I could say that about almost every station in North America. Z has come a long way over the past several years and they continue to improve. A big positive step would be going live 24/7.

You can currently find Tarzan Dan doing mornings on Sun FM in BC.

Sadly, the evanov radio group (owner of Z103&other stations) hasn't been live on the overnight for quite some time.

Former Live overnight jock, Lidia S. can now be found working for Mix 999 and filling in for the Ailing Punch Andrews.

That's because Roz and Mocha are no longer local.
Now you're waking up to a national morning show.
