Wake Up With Whoopi

Beginning January 2nd, "Kiss, 93.9" is going to air the "Wake Up With Whoopi Show". The show is very funny, when I visit my parents in Philadelphia, I listen to it. The show is on 5am-9am. I have not heard (or read) if that will be the time here.

Check it out at www.whoopi.com

I haven't listened to it yet, but can it possibly be THAT funny? I like what I heard of Cubby from Z100. Isn't he producing the show?

ive listened to it several times since the jan. 3 sign on date for KISS. i can listen to it for about 2-4 minutes. dry humor. nothing big. ordinary. once or twice i heard them mention "the Triangle".

my bottom line: its not that great. it can't hold my attention for more than 5 minutes. its very plain. the showgram on 105 is way better.
i dont recommend it.

I heard Woopie in Charlotte this morning on 93.9, (there was a skip going on for over an hr). I agree her show is a little dry, but she is better than Steve Harvey. Harvey's show is too polarizing and some members on his show sound borderline racist. V101.9 in Charlotte has him on in mornings and it can be pretty tough to take his show too. I have heard however that he does pull decent ratings. That may be the new msg factor working for him though.
