WALE lineup

Starting very soon on the big fish. In the morning we have the Lay followed by the Jersey Boy 9-noon,
then comes the T for mid ...followed by the flower for drive.

Unless whjj makes a real move to spend the big bucks for the Bud hjj is done.
The Jersey boy always wants full control, remember that.

A competition betwen WALE and WHJJ is kind of the same thing as the a contest between the kids on the short bus competing against the kids of Meeting Street School. In the end they both still look disadvantaged. My vote goes to WPRO as the winner. No surprise there. I'm just being realistic. WALE could put Howard Stern on in the morning and they would still lose. That damn signal is the death of WALE. It's as simple as that.

Skynet is right, the signal does suck, and the equipment probably needs serious work... And if I remember correctly, Skynet is also a big proponent of streaming media... hmmm... I wonder if in today's digital age, WALE online would at least assist. While the signal would be the death of WALE... streaming would at least let it live out it's days on life support...

As for the lineup...

Lay? hmmm... Dave Layman in the morning? Not too bad...
T must be the great Tony Farr...
I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out Jersey Boy... maybe it'll come to me...
And of course, the Flower being Ms. Arlene Violet...

Now where is Howie Bart? I'm sure he's somewhere in this mix... are we doing news/traffic/weather on this station too? Maybe Metro Networks for news/traffic... and as for a weather/news partner, Channel 6 is the only one still without a radio station affiliation (10 going to WPRO and 12/64 going to WHJJ)... plus if Lay is Dave Layman, I'm sure he still has ties to 6 from the good ol' days... Competition is the only thing that's going to kick-start talk in this town again...

Let me also add, Dave Barber isn't a "Jersey Boy" he's a Michigan boy... so if this line up is correct, then I don't see Barber going to WALE... Which means if he's staying in this market, he's either gotta go to WHJJ or learn Spanish very fast...

One last thought on Jersey Boy... our Ex Mayor is currently a Jersey Boy... is he going to the mighty 990?

And on a final note, regarding Mr. Barber... I'll save Holland the time and trouble of posting because we all know what he's going to say...

"Stay tuned..."

Where Are you guys heads? They would burn WALE to the ground before any of this would even happen. The station is need of such repair of everything from the Board to the transmitter. The station cant even stay on the air a week now. The Light bill alone is thousands of dollars a month.Much more than any other station in Providence. ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

at last true professionals with radio vision.radio is coming full circle not just lackies taking generic ideas and trying apease the listening audience it comes to talent .talent always wins. as all those pros like holland.les. skynet.ect. understand great stations that win first of all do not screen callers holland will verify that. the callers are the show it takes real radio people to conduct harmony using the callers

These sound like rap artists. Are you sure this isn't Hot 106's lineup?

Tom Izoozu, and not Tony Farr.
Thats a shame.
Izoozu is talentless. He is a foolish WALE previous 'Bad on air' guy.
Whats next "Dis is TOMMY RICCI"! " Hi!, I'm ROB MICHEALS!"
Oh GOD!, EEEEHHHHHH!

ion the Comic.

I've lost track and don't feel like looking for the answer.Who actually owns this station?Where are the studios?
And the other questions are who would actually want to talk to these people?Maybe you can count Arlene Violet as viable since some feel her downfall came after WHJJ's Air America fiasco that killed any future chances the station had.The rest just sound like resurrected people the radio world forgot about.Where will the revenue come from? The 70s and 80s are over. This will just be one more temporary losing situation. Why do so many dumb people with money to spend choose radio to squander it on when they can open dollar stores and actually make money?

i doubt Howie Barte, he cannot wait for his wife to retire. He wants to make the move to Florida to their condo permanent.

I actually tuned into the static of WALE today. So now at least they've got some ratings. I'm doing my best to give them a head start! :)
