Walker County Storm Damage?

Heard about all of the storm damage in Walker County... A few questions:

Is the heavily vandalized 1540 Sumiton station back on-air? Was there any storm damage?

Is 1010 WCOC's tower still standing?

thanks.

I drove by what I believe is the 1010 WCOC tower on Tuesday and it is still standing. Is this station on the air? ??? According to the FCC, they are back on. I have tried to tune them in everytime I drove through there but get nothing. Did they turn on the transmitter in order to say they are on the air but not send any audio out? Just curious.

Did the sale of WKDG ever close? The applications in the CDBS (FCC website) do not provide a firm answer one way or the other. I find it hard to believe that a group out of Little Rock would try to operate a tiny station in Sumiton, Alabama. My question would be: "To what end?"
