Waller Stations Sold?

I believe the Pittsburg station is KMPA, not KXAL. The KXAL call sign belongs to a LPFM station licenced to The Church at Lake Cherokee.

I don't have any inside info on the Waller stations, although I understand a sale is pending. We are not the ones who are buying it. Only time will tell who the ultimate owner will be, or what they will do with it.

As for KEBE, the FCC has approved the sale, and we plan to close soon. The new owner has a home near Jacksonville, which should be a plus. Servicing Jacksonville from a distance has been difficult. At least for the time being, the new owner has asked if he can rebroadcast our QX-FM feed. I've said "yes," so, at least for a while, nothing will change in the eyes of the casual observer.

Selling KEBE means we can concentrate our efforts on KZQX (QX-FM), KDOK and the Texas Museum of Broadcasting & Communications. Hopefully, everyone (including most of our listeners) will win.

I'm a bit late to the party, or so it seems.

The link you posted is a blank application, C414. The following link I have provided is the STA Silent extension application which indicates a potential sale of KLJT-HD Jacksonville. The buyer, of course, remains unknown at present time. The same STA extensions were filed for KFRO-FM Gilmer, KZXM Bullard, and KXAL Pittsburg. I assume the 4 pack is being sold as a whole.

Hmmm....I clicked the link and saw the completed app but perhaps my PC was seeing a cached image and not what you saw. In any event, thanks for reposting the link.
