Wally is back and buzzing

Wally is going to be on the Buzz's Morning Show on 105.3FM tomorrow at 7am. There are some promos on the Buzz hinting towards his appearance. Here's a post from FT.com from Chris Williams:Wally has been one of my favorite people for a couple years now. Beyond the person, he is also an amazing radio talent on the air and behind the scenes. I hired him at 99X to be one of the corner stones of a new show anchored by Toucher. We never really got to fully realize that vision because a certain, aged, party fought kicking and screaming to stay on the air and keep 99X from evolving and reinventing itself for the next generation. The result was a confused half and half show that did manage to still showcase Toucher and Wally's talent, but never let them really do the show I know they were capable of doing? It was a sorry compromise of something that could have been radio greatness. I'm glad the people at CBS Infinity saw the same thing in Fred I saw and are letting him do his show and Wally has a few weeks free hanging out in Atlanta while he weighs some offers so I asked him to come hang out and have fun with Whip. I think you are going to be shocked at how successful both talents are when they are allowed to be creative without a foot on their necks! I'm very happy to see there are others who appreciate Wally's talent. 7Am tomorrow is gonna be fun!!!----It'll be interested to see how this plays out.

I don't get it. How does that "certain, aged, party" continue to keep her job after all these years, especially through all the recent turnover?

I think he meant Leslie. sorry if my post earlier was too hot for radio-info that it had to be deleted. If you want to hear something funny and interesting during the mornings, Whip and Wally is going to be the place to listen in the morning.
