WalMart Watch is coming to town..

I found a cathcy commercial in the tune of "Santa Claus is coming to town", but it's an ad targeted at Wal Mart.

One side could call it Wal Mart bashing, the other would call it exposing.

EIther way it's kind of catchy. Usually people put up adds to ENCOURAGE you to shop somewhere. It was awkward to hear one that DISCOURAGES you.

I think you can hear the entire ad at www.walmartwatch.com.

I heard it on the air in Chicago on WBBM. Has this aired in other markets too?

Just for that, I'll be forced to shop atWal-mart even more. Yeah, the unions'll get the clerks at $2.00 an hour raise, and they'll be paying that $2.00 an hour in union dues.

Haven't heard the ad in my area yet.

Wal Mart doesn't buy local radio. They buy networks and syndicated programming, so from the standpoint of the local radio station, Wal Mart coming to town is something to be discouraged in the strongest way possible.
