WALR modifies its COL from LaGrange to Greenville, GA

Anybody got any idea what's next for 104.1?

Never mind; I've answered my own question. I see a CP for a tower in Greenville; but it's not any different from when the COL was LaGrange. So I'm guessing they will want to move a little closer to ATL.

Probably to reach the eastern suburbs that they lost from the 104.7/104.1 move in 2000 is why they might move closer.

I believe the only reason for this was that Cox wanted 95.7 moved from Greenville to Waverly Hall to facilitate moving 95.5 into Atlanta. By changing 104.1's COL, they kept a local service in Greenville.
