Walt Love Countdown

I was recently visiting in Austin and was somewhat surprised to hear that Walt "Baby Love' was still doing a weekly top 25 mainstream urban countdown (on nonstreaming community urban KAZI). He is a legend (started as a DJ in the 1960s) and I have good memories of listening to his show back in the 80s and early 90s, however the show was a bit odd as he made many comments about the poor choice of lyrics in several songs on the countdown (I don't disagree with him). I know he has a thriving gospel show but I hadn't come across a station running his mainstream countdown show in several years.

I was left wondering is the Big Tigger show the only other syndicated mainstream urban chart countdown out there these days?

Walt Love has been on so long, I also remember listenning to him back in the 80s, 90s, until 2002 on our
W I L D 1090am.
He's always been like that with some songs, he will not play songs with bad words nor bad meanings. It's the way his show has always been. He has both Mainstream Urban, as well as Urban AC

Big Tiggre also has a Top 30 Countdown-Premrad.com

Hollywood Hamilton Top 30 in both CHR, and Urban/Urban AC-Unitedstations.com

I agree 100%
No station (pirate) included, here in Boston, can ever replace 1090 the way they used to be when Nash owned them
