Today I saw a cab with a sign promoting waltan and johnston on the radio. I also saw a billboard on 610. That's a lot of advertising for a show on the AM dial. Are they doing well in the ratings?
 
No they suck that is why they have been on AM 2 yrs

They would be on a real active rock station if we had one on FM The fact that people listen to AM is because coparate greed has ruined radio. Most of thier stations are FM

AH yes back in the good ole days radio was all about philanthropy...it's just a business, some realize that

It would be "just a business," if there weren't that pesky responsibility to serve the public trust.

w&j are paid on a syndication contract. cc has announced it will replacing some local talent with syndicated stuff...like w&j...to save money. could mean cha-ching for w&j.
