WAMC Middletown translator move to 106.3 on air

In the last few days, WAMC's CP for a switch of its Middletown translator from 106.9 to 106.3 went into effect (Wednesday, I believe). More power, less HAAT. I drove past the transmitter site (according to FCC database) and don’t see how the height could decrease, unless the antenna went from the attic of the house to the basement. Is that possible?

It’s too bad they moved frequency, as this damages my reception of WDST’s translator (106.5) on top of Mt. Beacon. I’m about a mile away from the 106.3 transmitter and it cross modulates on 106.5, sometimes to the point of overpowering the signal altogether. Is this within normal parameters?
