WAMS Live!

Not that anyone cares...

You can use Real Player but not Windows Media Player for pls streams.

Right now, one person is listening online (probably funtastic). Their capacity is 50 but I don't think you need to worry about getting an "at capacity" message - ever. They probably don't have 50 on-air listeners. They may not have 50 people not on this board who have ever heard them.

Now two listeners. Sound quality is very poor. My guess is they've got a computer microphone in front of a radio, sort of like what somebody up in Berwick did with Kevin Fennssey's old station, WFBS (and others).

Wow!, I'm excited! I just discontinued my satellite service, and threw all my CD's and MP's out the window and canceled my date. Ahhhh chicks who needs them when you have WAMS online. Let me know if their are any more AMer's playing oldies online like them. I hope they broadcast in mono...because stereo and digital is too advance for me.
Hey! best of luck on your WAMS monitoring career. I hope it last 6 months or more for you. Please keep in touch and up to date with all of us.

(the sad thing about this is post is that this idiot probably believes me.)

And they say *women* are catty...

It does sound good. It's only been 2 weeks since WAMS made the change from gospel to Oldies, in that 2 week time, WAMS has added a midday local live jock, ABC oldies the rest of the time with ABC radio news, numerous spots, and now streaming online. Not bad for the first two weeks.
