Starting this Sunday, WAMS is all Religious, Sundays only, also will simulcast with 1600 Sunday. New bird hookup, better variety of oldies.

Mr. Cooper starts tonight on WMGK, 10 to 1, we shall see.

If WMMR continues to explode, ratings wise, lets say 5.0 and 6.0, next few ratings, will WYSP drop the talk and go head to head with music. Or will another station go all Rock, to compete with the now popular WMMR, or none of the above.

Hmmm. Since dropping the REJOICE call letters, which they used for only a few weeks and returning to WAMS, let's see how many times they have changed. 1st, it was all computer driven music. 2nd, it was the ABC oldies service that WNRK had used. 3rd, it was computer driven with Scott Shannon's ABC "True Oldies" format. 4th it was/is all computer driven again. Four changes in 4 weeks?

And to make life even more interesting, every 10 minutes or so, we hear the same "don't let your kids do drugs" $10 per ad run (run dozens of times more than the sponsor paid for) and "Mama's In The Kitchen." Hearing that every stop set is more than any listener can take.

They need to try something new and different: stick with a format for three months in a row with no changes, not even minor ones!
