Wane tv adds ion on 15.3

Apparently following a trend in the Media General group, WANE dropped the Doppler radar channel on 15.3 and added ION Television.
Some aspects of the channel could use a boost, like program audio, and the program guide, but I'm willing to bet the station's tech staff is waiting to see what happens with Antenna TV on 15.2...why waste the effort when they could possibly move ION to 15.2 after Jan. 1 2016.
(Side note: nothing public that I've seen has been said about WANE's announcement to drop Antenna TV at the end of this year.)

Personally I'm glad to have another outlet for programs during the weekday. Off air and streaming are the only ways I get programming in this joint...

One thing that happened since I posted...I commented about the program guide and by 10 PM (the next time I checked) it was active. Good to have when you're 5 hours deep into a Law and Order marathon...
Audio has not been adjusted. (it's a few dB below the main and 15.2...) Video looks good as is.
