Wanna buy an automation company?

Google Radio, formerly Scott Studios and Computer Concepts, is going up for sale. Google has decided they can't make enough money selling ads for radio stations and they're exiting the business after May 1st. Up to 40 folks could be laid off. Dave Scott sold the company to DMarc in '04 or '05 and they turned around and sold it to Google for around $100 million in early '06.

That is big news. Google/Scott Studios and Maestro Automation account for about 50% of all stations in the US & Canada. Europe is big on Maestro and if I had the money....I would buy it!!

A lot of the problem with Google radio automation is that they have an absolute excellent product that is simply priced too high.
There is competition now that accomplishes essentially the same for THOUSANDS less...
Even their deep discounted offers lately are still thousands over what some of the other guys are using.
