Want a surprise?

Anyone know what this surprise is? I didn't turn it on until after 9 Am but it seems like they're doing a full music hour in the 9 am hour now instead of the morning show lasting until 10.
 
So your tell me Blue and Korby Ray in the Morning are done? That was a great morning show. And now with Cumulus moving country to 106.5 why would The Gator want to change up the mornign show.
 
It's "The Jeff Roper Show with Korby Ray". R&R and AirPlay Monitor both say "Blue"'s future with the station is unclear. Roper also takes over as PD, replacing Johnny Walker, who retains OM and afternoon duties.
 
That sucks. Not really sure who Jeff Roper is. But Blue and Korby Ray In The Morning sounded good. I liked it. Still wonder why Quatum wants to change up mornings at Gator 107.9
 
I am sure that it is about ratings and Jeff has been extremely successful everywhere he has been for the exception of New 92 here in Columbia.
 
Actually, Jeff has been modestly successful and deemed not worthy of the in-house turmoil he eventually wreaks.
 
Blue is on right now during the mid-day. I thought he was gone for good as he was removed from the website. So now where does that leave Jaimie the normal mid-day jock?
 
good question...since they said on the air the other day that blue was back in NY
 
Did not listen today....but did hear the morning show on in the 9a hour today...so what does that mean?
It's kinda funny they hire Roper as pd and mornings...And on Monday JW posts a job opening for pd and mornings on all access
 
well i think you are just jealous that your station didn't get Jeff Roper because he such a big star in country radio. i have listened to jeff ever since he was in charlotte and i must say that Gator has got the best thing that myrtle beach radio has seen in a while.
 
Jeff is very talented. I worked with him @ WCOS. I loved the funny stunts he would do.

I couldn't agree more. I've been listening alot lately and think they really sound incredible. They're playing a lot more music, playing a good variety, and really just letting the music play more without getting in the way of it. They really do sound great.

Wow, Roper did all that in a week? When does he feed the multitudes with one basket of fish and bread?
