I don't think Viva will be heard on 105.7, but if Clear Channel is smart, El Patron will. I've been saying this and writing about it for years. It makes no sense to use 105.3, a station with a weak signal in Gwinnett, for Hispanic, especially with 105.7, which does boom into Gwinnett, in the same cluster. And it makes little sense to have 105.3, a signal that booms across Atlanta, not being used for a general market format.

The former CC/Atlanta market manager disagreed with me. With new management, these moves might be made.

You tell em Roddy...The CC idiots don't have a clue about one of their biggest markets.........

Roddy, yes, meant to say el patron on 105 7 currently on the south side signal, then an Anglo music format on 105.3, maybe they finally read your blog after all these years :)
Sounds like it could happen soon.

I think it will either be WBZY or WWVA. WWVA, especially.

WWVA's ratings dipped since WWPW came onto the scene and became a success. As of now, it is the weakest of the FM CC Stations.

I am not sure about the billing for WBZY, and it is the second weakest of the full power FM CC stations.

Actually, I'm going to push WBZY up on the format change list. Didn't WWVA JUST hire a new APD/MD? AND Change their logo? Then again, this is Clear Channel we are talking about.
