Our company owns and operates 12 small market radio stations in northeast Georgia, Upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina. All stations are within an hour's drive of our Toccoa, GA headquarters which is 90 minutes NE of Atlanta and an hour west of Greenville, SC. We still do small market radio the way it should be done. www.gacaradio.com

We have 6 AMs (only one directional 2 tower nights only ) and 6 FMs, all Class As. Highest power AM is 2500 watts. Pending improvements include AM power increase to 5KW on two stations and a frequency change on power increase on a third AM.

Company maintains AM and FM search software to monitor possible facility upgrades, etc. Stations are well equipped and maintained.

We would like to find a qualified person to be our group engineer who would provide routine maintenance and handle any infrequent off air emergencies. Contract assistance will be available.

We would also consider someone who might be working as an assistant chief with a larger group.

Benefits include vehicle, health, life, dental insurance and retirement.

Send resumes and salary requirements to [email protected]. or

I wish your operation was closer to Charlotte...working for a smaller operator that still loves radio the business rather than radio just for the dollars would be the perfect job for an old guy like me.
