Wanted: Morning host

Barring any unforeseen delays, which can happen in the start-up of a new station, Radio 9 WCME will be on the air within a week to ten days in Brunswick, Maine at 900 AM. We'll begin with a "soft launch" to be comprised mostly of music and liners by our outstanding station voice--Wayne Cabot of WCBS-AM in New York.

In the next few weeks, we'll debut a full-service/information-oriented morning show, and we are seeking a topical host--an upbeat, well-informed personality--preferably a midcoast resident with a love and understanding of the area. Sense of humor is a plus.

Jim, who is quite an excellent newsman, is going to write/report LOCAL news; a full-time job on its own. So a morning "DJ" is still needed.
