WANTED: PRE-1980 RATINGS

Do you have any radio ratings books from prior to 1980, or know someone who does? Please reply or PM me if you have any old ARB or Hooper books, regardless of market. I'm more than happy to get scans or copies, and am even willing to pay if you're willing to part with them.

Have you talked to Jim Duncan? Jim published "American Radio" for several decades out of Indy (and Cincy?). Lost track of him when he ceased publication, but my recollection is that he had Arbitron info dating back to the early-or-mid seventies for most markets.

Jim sold off his publications about a decade ago, retired to the mountains of New Mexico, and basically excommunicated himself from the radio industry. I have a large collection of his books, and have been in touch with several of his former associates in hopes of finding some of the earlier editions, but thus far to no avail. He started his "American Radio" publication in 1975, so even with all of his data only the latter half of that decade has been documented.
