WAPT is starting to run infomercials on 16-2

I have a new HDTV in my bedroom which is off the air and I noticed tonight that 16-2 is running infomercials instead of the radar. Does anyone know if this is going to be the permanent thing from here on out?

They have been running infomercials at night for quite a while on 16.2. They also have some E/I childrens programming on weekend mornings. I'd like to see WAPT add an extra subchannel with a network we don't currently have over the air. I can think of several. as long as they don't lower the quality. WJTV lowered the bitrate of Antenna TV 12.3 after they started HD broadcasts on CW 12.2. 12.3 is now so pixelated its barely watchable, especially during sports or action scenes. The Mississippi State game on 12.3 the other night was almost unwatchable. Everytime the camera pans or someone moves, it goe pixelated and out of focus. It's 480i but looks more like a 240p or less youtube video.
