War on XMAS TOPIC to be milked by talkers

Slow news period, I predict tnbo ET AL will find instances of this "war" and use it to fill a slow news period. If only some kids are caught stealing Xmas light bulbs, that would be proof the secular humanists are taking over and it will be into the trenches for the kfwhyeye crew to do battle with the atheistic enemy within. Also fruitcake jokes are being dusted off.

I didn't realize there was a war on Christmas. It seems to be everywhere. By the way, the word Holiday was originally HOLY-day for those that may confused. Another FOX 'slow snooze day' I guess...

Gotta love that 70+ radio and cable TV. Really, really OLD people watch and listen that. (The GOP... GRUMPY OLD PEOPLE)

"War on Christmas" is actually the name of a pledge-drive premium CD comped by WFMU in NY/NJ that includes tracks like "Jesus Christ" by Big Star. (A nice pop song that KEZ should play...seriously.) As for 92.3's supposed We're-Not-Your-Grandpa's-Talk-Radio nonsense, their phone-in talkers will all be over the 'war on Christmas' talking points before their dreaded, inevitable flip to their mothballed, fogwebby Christmas special programming for their (actual) senior demo. Yep, ya gotta love 92.3 and their "Pay No Attention To The Geezers All These Colonscopy Spots Are For" -- I still don't know any Rush fans [the band Rush] who would patronize all these "scientific breakthroughs" and "market trials" Bonneville's got inked. I do certainly admire the creative salesmanship over there - it will be incredibly useful when they need to update their LinkedIn profiles.

Seems to be about the prohibition against the free exercise thereof portion of the First Amendment being ignored by those who hang everything on the establishment portion.

If only the topic was "War on XMAS Music" we'd probably be on page 12 of replies by now ;)
