Just today, WARM came back on the air and instead of playing what they were supposed to be playing before they temporarily went off the air, it flipped to CBS Sports Radio. Plus, I can hear the signal clearly than when they were the True Oldies Channel and the short-lived "Good Time Oldies" formats.
With 590 now airing sports, this gives the region four sports stations, in addition to WICK/WYCK airing Fox, 630/1240/100.1/100.5/96.1 combo with ESPN, and 102.3 with NBC! But the downside is, that except for the Gem 104 originating stations of 730(heard faintly), no more music on AM radio in NEPA.
I will say give this one few more months, then the station will probably be off the air again, and again, and again........
WARM 590 is now the cursed frequency in the NEPA region.
