Warm 98 Delilah Issues

I have noticed for serveral airings the left channel is on but very low dunrning the broadcasts but it's fine during commercials. I wornder if they are sending the syndicated stream that way to Cumulus? I tried to call so they could fix it but no one will answer so i'll send a emial to Keith Mitchell about it since hes the program director for Warm 98 now.

One of the former Susquehanna engineers wrote an article in Inside Radio that mentions how Cumulus (& others) have gutted the engineering department (and the rest of the departments as well). Based on this article, what you're hearing will likely become more common in the future. This stuff will only run so long without the necessary engineering manpower to keep it properly maintained.

I would think its likely a problem with WARM's XDS receivers input into the console or automation switcher (depending on how they have it wired up)... likely a bad left channel cable or something or another.. (could be multiple things making the left channel lower while the XDS Feed (Deliah) is on).

It's likely a local issue on Warm's end and not the sydicators end.

I think the bigger question here is: Why are you listening to Delilah?? ;)

This did not happen-- you are fools-- Keith Mitchell cannot err

Other Delilah affiliates around the country aren't having this issue, so the problem is at Warm 98.

Maybe it's true that Cumulus has only one engineer for its Cincy station cluster as evidenced by 92.5 operating on reduced power all day yesterday. Delilah sounds normal tonight so they must have fixed the audio issue.
