Ray was already working at WEJL with Rich Mates when the Axe Wednesday firings happened. First they hired Guy to do news and then Mark Thomas who worked in the afternoon to sign off. Jim Davey landed at WEJL sometime in the mid 80's, it was like Warm of Scranton there for a while.
