That is weird, but before reporting things like this (and whatever you heard on 105.5 the other day), might I suggest you check to see if the same thing is evident on your car radio and clock radio? Seems you might be using an antenna amplifier (a no-no within 20 miles or so of powerful TV or FM transmitters). The amplifier looks for weak signals. When it sees strong signals, it reacts like a hearing aid does in a room full of shouting people...In a radio, this is exhibited in the form of spurious signals that are not really being broadcast...just being generated either in the preamplifier or the receiver. I grew up in Cincy (this was before there were as many signals as today) & even without a preamplifier, I had the same things happen & actually had to put an attenuator in line when my antenna was aimed downtown. If that signal were actually coming from WARM 98, you would hear it on multiple radios in multiple parts of the city. Is that happening?
