WARMLand Remembered

For those of you who want to remember the old days of WARM, specifically the 60's and the Sensational Seven, WVIA(Channel 44) produced an hour long show several years ago which is currently airing on its digital channel at 44.1. It airs everyday this month at midnight, 6AM, noon and 6PM.It was produced and hosted by Bill Kelly, now President and CEO of WVIA, who at one time worked at WARM.The show features many of the announcers from those great days of radio. Len Woloson, Harry West, George Gilbert, Terry McNulty, Joey Shaver are among those featured on the program. It is a fun hour that brings back memories of when radio was really enjoyable and exciting. If you get a chance, check it out by the end of this month.

Thanks for the info. It's something I never get tired of seeing. They should do a sequel. WARM, the seventies and beyond.

Yes, and I do believe we had some talk about just that back on the old forum. Good show, but way too much left out, way too much.

Speaking of which. Does anyone know why Ron Allen wasn't interviewed? Did he have a stroke several years back of some other heath problem?

Yes...Ron Allen did have a stroke....he was not able to appear on the Warmland Rembered show. He is still with us.
