Warmland the mighty 590 reunion 2013

I'd like to thank everyone who stopped by the Warmland Reunion at the Pocono Drag Lodge Reunion this past August 10. Was a terrific event, and those who supported un made it so!! Tommy Wood, 3 days out of the Hospital was there; Joey Shaver was in attendance, and I think Dave Yonki showed up also. I tried to get Joe Nardone and the All stars to perform, but I did did get a super note from Joe, was hoping he could come up as a guest celebrity. We had the tunes blasting with the WARM jingles, top of the hour legal Id's, complete with the TOH tone. Thanks to Dave Marks for spinning the tunes, and Gene Forbes for putting the music together. I have more of the "it's only warm for me" Buttons, let me know if you want one. My email is [email protected]. Next years Drag Lodge and Warmland reunions will be August 9, 2014!!!

Thanks

It's admirable that you keep the memory of the legendary WARM alive; but equally sad because it's likely never to return. AM has one foot in the grave and the other on the oil slick.

Oldies 4ever : Is there any archive of that reunion soundtrack available?

Back in the Long Island days, we'd sometimes get WARM very nicely at night. During the day on the real beast radios we'd get WARM, WROW Albany and WEEI Boston mixing. Daily. But WARM and it's sister station WSBA York made for some great out-of-market listening at night, surprisingly and delightfully, on some of the better transistor radios.

We presently live in a dead WARM null, being co-linear with omni WHP out of Harrisburg, so it's tough to 'bring 'em in'. The only taped audio I have of WARM was a few seconds of the real thing, from 1963 or 1964. It'd be great to hear more, replicated or not.
