Warning to TiVo users

I've had it for two years but never had this happen.

If a network delays a particular episode of a program by a week, you might not see it.

I learned this the hard way due to the much-anticipated season premiere of "Rules of Engagement".

I didn't have it, and I checked the recording history to see why, and it said that episode had aired in the past week.

Oh, sure, the listings said it did, but that's not what aired. In fact, no new episodes of anything except possibly "How to Be a Gentleman" have aired on Saturdays.

I double-checked this past week's episode but "Charlie's Angels" wasn't on anyway.

The same thing happened with "A Gifted Man". The listings said a new episode, but it was a rerun. I'm making sure this time, because the scenes from next week were of the episode that should have aired.

Last week, CBS pulled new episodes of all Friday programs once STL won Game 6 of the World Series and guaranteed a Big Fox Win for Game 7 on Friday night. I don't think they made that decision until early Friday morning.
