From Radio Online: Alternative WARQ-FM (Rock 93.5)/Columbia, SC, morning co-host Kat Morrison exits. She had also handled middays for the last four years.
 
The public line out of that stations is that "she moved on." Read into that whatever you wish, particularly since it isn't radio unless you have been fired at least once.
 
Unlike days of old maybe the wind changed directions, maybe a fly landed on the bosses desk when she walked in, maybe it was something more serious but in now a day times maybe not.

Her presentation has never really fit the format anyway.

My policy has always been whatever happens on personal, not company time, while not representing the station or using station property is a personal matter. That, of course, changes if you are wearing station colors and make an ass of yourself at a client's place or remote or are driving the station vehicle.

Wish her the best. Both Dave Stewart and Rod Metts tend to chew up female sidekicks.
