Wow- they didn't waste any time taking him off there website. It's a shame. Very articulate newscaster- I thought one of the best in the market. He'll be missed.<P ID="signature">______________

Do we know why? I hope that Warren did this on his own terms and is going on to do bigger and better things. If anyone has any info, please post. It seems there have been several departures from WSB-TV in the last few months and we don't know why they happened (i.e. - Deidra Dukes, Shannon Walshe, Tyler Sieswerda, etc.).

Not by anyone at the station. The guy is a poster child for anger management. He would constantly berate co-workers, show up for his shift 10 minutes before air time, and was just a nightmare.

As for why he left, he didn't show up for his shift Tuesday morning (giving no warning that he planned on being absent), then showed up after the newscast was over and cleaned out his desk.

Good riddance.

I wonder what channel 2 will do because I know it will be another black paired with Pam Martin mornings 5-7am and the Noon newshour. On staff they only have Tom Jones as a black male on-air reporter. I would assume that Jovita Moore will co-anchor the noon news with Pam Martin along with the 5:30 half hour of the 5pm newshour. I guess someone new will come aboard in the next month to fill that slot.

I just read this at the top of today's page on the Newsblues.com site:

"Before I sell out, I get the hell out."
