Was Bill Drake planning a comeback project?

Check out www.top40timeclock.com. I just stumbled on this web site, apparently developed two years ago, in which it appeared legendary radio programmer Bill Drake was going to make a comeback.

Does anyone know what happened to this project? I am a great admirer of Bill's work from years ago, particularly the Hit Parade format of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

There was discussion of this back then when it was happened, It sounded to me like they sort of abandoned it because of the problem with crossing into the 80s and 90s that won't blend with a 60s 70s audience.

That would be a huge problem, for a few weeks it would be 1958, then we'd be at 1998 for a few weeks. Not sure how that's a plan.
