Was it possible I got WSIX in Luling today?

I was in Luling Texas today and was getting all kinds of skips but the most interesting one was I believe it was WSIX. Usually I pick up KBXX Houston most of the time. Today WSIX? came in very clear. Well guess with the crazy weather we been having it could be possible.

Winter E-Skip around this time of year occasionally happens

I once had a middle of the dial FM from Montana in late December when i was in western pa.. only distant station i had and lasted darn near like a local for over half an hour

The intense weather would've been the one to produce tropospheric conditions, which caused a lot of distant stations around Texas and surrounding areas east to be received. Should it have been E-skip, more distant stations like a thousand miles away would have came in. I have not seen reports of sporadic E skip activity today so far.

There were no other real reports of eskip the day I heard KMCJ 99.5 Colstrip, MT in Ridgway, PA in December 2017

This channel on Youtube is how I learned about FM eskip, he got some super far away stations:
