Was Jeff & Jenn A Smart Move For Star 94-1?

Jeff and Jenn are both well known in this market by virtue of their time on Q100's Bert Show. And, they both sound good. The show's content, however, is very average; nothing ground-breaking or even creative.

Drex, Cassiday & Tingle, banished to afternoon drive with no promotion and limited talk time, are head and shoulders above Jeff & Jenn in creativity. They were not getting the numbers in morning drive, but the station was still being tweaked by PD Tony Lorino. Who knows what their ratings would be now if they were still in morning drive?

I'm not saying Jeff & Jenn was a bad move, just wondering. One more point: Having Marino run the board in the morning is a waste of one of the market's best jocks.

Have to agree. I probably haven't listened to the Bert Show as often as some so I really had no preconceived notions on Jeff or Jenn.

Having said that, after several opportunities to listen to them, the content has been underwhelming. Having been a few months, perhaps they are still finding their way?

Agreed on the waste of the move of the former PM drive guy to morning show board op. When I've listened, I have yet to hear him interject. I assume he isn't a contributing on air cast member? He's over qualified for that gig. Indeed a waste.
