Was Noory supposed be on 550 10pm Tuesday evening? July 3

Noory is an improvement over Levin as his voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Levin would move if there was a station that would clear him at 6 PM.... provided the signal was comparable.
They were peeved that Ramsey got 7 PM. Levin was there longer, waiting in the wings for that slot.

Well then he's kind of stuck where he is unless another FM talk station starts up, which at this point in time is inevitable.

Levin believes in seniority? Does his program out perform Ramsey in most markets? If not, what's his beef?

As you know, Levin is live at 6 PM, Eastern. Previously, KRC had Savage was at 7 and Levin at 10. They wanted Ramsey to probably protect their numbers with Hannity. So, they get Ramsey at 7. Levin (his people) say, gee, we've been stuck here at 10. Why can't we have 7? Well, Ramsey won't move from 1160 to 55 for 10 PM. So, there is the whole deal.

Ramsey protects Hannity? Never would have guessed it. Would have thought the flow to Levin, as in most markets, would have been the better sequence.

Although it appears Ramsey has been polishing his ties with Clear Channel, I know they have been pushing live clearance. Maybe CC is getting some sort of spiff from Ramsey. But with live clearance being pushed harder these days, it surprises me that he moved to KRC on delay when you cleared him live. Of course that's better than his previous 10 pm clearance on the station the last time he was carried on 550..

I'd love to how He is doing ratings wise compared to Savage when He was in that 7-9pm slot live with them repeating the first hour from 9-10PM.

I'd listen to Levin before snooze-inducing Ramsey or whackadoo Noory.
Don't like Dennis Miller, Ramsey, or Noooooory.

Noory's show is great if you happen to be in a, let's just say, altered state. Especially the ghost and UFO stuff, which I obviously don't believe in, but it's fun to pretend every now and then.

I am told that the Savage numbers were higher when he was at the 7 PM slot....

I like Norry. He's not Art Bell but as you say, He is better when you're half asleep.

Or drunk...

We used to do a lot of Detroit to Phoenix, non stop, marathon drives. We'd hit north Texas or Okla by the time Art Bell was on. Was was actually pretty cool having Art on the radio, driving at night with the star filled skies. Kind of eerie but cool.

I was referring to a certain all-natural plant-induced altered state, but those other two things work well too. Art Bell though, he was great no matter what you're on, he was just a solid, talented radio host. I miss him a lot, but I've found a few online outlets that stream classic Art Bell shows.

Art Bell was great. Premiere runs his old show on Saturday night but 55KRC only runs the last hour from midnight to 1 am. I'll have to look for those streaming sites on Google.

Here's one: http://www.fineartstream.com/
Here's another: http://www.u7radio.org/

Also, the only station I've found that airs all four hours of classic Coast on Saturdays is WNTM 710 in Mobile, Alabama. They start the show at 9pm Saturday nights and they stream on iHeartRadio.

Art Bell is/was the best for out-there topics.

While he dealt with much less vetted 'Guests' than Noory does, he made it interesting.

Often you could feel his distrust of what the kooks were saying but he kept it together as if it was legit.
