Was There A WIXY DJ circa 1967 named Bob Wayne?

I just checked out the WIXY tribute site and couldn't find anybody named Bob Wayne, but I'm wondering if he used that name at WIXY, or perhaps something else. He worked at WMEX in Boston circa 1968, and supposedly is a Boston-area native. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Man that name sounds familiar but I can't place it either. I know there was a Norman Wayne who I believe was either a GM or an owner of WIXY, I checked 440.com and a Bobby Wayne is listed and worked in Cincinnati at the same time, maybe that is who you are looking for.

Oh and a side bar, wasn't there a "Bruce Wayne" who lived in the big apple? Seams Bruce had some sort of crime fighting job on the side!<P ID="signature">______________

There was a Bobby Wayne who worked in Cincinnati, San Diego, New York and other major markets, but not WMEX-Boston or WIXY-Cleveland. He did, however, have a show called "Swing Train" that may been syndicated and heard on those stations. If it's the same guy, he died in 1993.

Norman Wain was both the GM and one of the partners who owned WIXY.
