Was There Tropo/E-Skip in SW Pa Today?

This morning in the north hills of Pittsburgh (specifically Jefferson Hills) , I heard a staticky signal from Classy 100 out of Erie, PA , a station I had never heard before. This makes me wonder if it was because of tropo/e-skip or if I was just positioned perfectly. Anyone know?
