Was this Canadian TV station actually affiliated with CBS?

I've seen a couple of sources that said that CKCK-TV, Ch. 2 in Regina, SK actually carried a secondary affiliation with CBS from 1954 to 1970. How was this possible? I've heard of some US border full power & LPTV TV stations that carried some Canadian TV networks.

They're wrong. I looked up the Leader Post (Regina's main newspaper) on newspapers.com. CKCK is regularly mentioned as a CBC affiliate, never a CBS affiliate. One item even mentions the station might become "independent" by leaving the CBC, which of course wouldn't happen if they had a CBS affiliation.

I think I remember hearing somewhere that the CBC used to air some CBS shows. That is probably where the confusion comes from.

I do remember seeing an episode of "The Red Skelton Show" on DVD, where they were welcoming Canadian TV viewers on either the CBC or CTV, I forget which.
