Washington, DC Loves... WXPN/Philadelphia?

According to DCRTV.com, the Internet stream of Philadelphia's WXPN finished 35th.

I guess them killing off "Y-Rock On XPN" over there worked!

What would "killing" Y Rock do to help ratings 2 cities away? Y Rock only used the airwaves during the evenings 3 nights a week. They're still on 88.5 and 88.7 HD 2s and still streaming at XPN.org. As for XPNs DC ratings it would be cool to hear something like
"Asylum Wake Skate n Snow supports XPN" or some other DC local business. So how DID DC get XPN? I'm assuming via 90.5 WKHS Worton

As the man stated, it was XPN's Internet stream that got on the DC PPMs.

And as I asked and was not answered : How did "killing" Y Rock ,which did not broadcast 9/10ths of the time even when it did have analog airtime, affect the reception and ratings of XPN in DC? That XPN recieved good numbers in DC is not in dispute, that ending a few hours of subchannel broadcast on a main signal had anything to do with anything is.

I believe the original poster's comments were meant to be tongue-in-cheek, inferring that the ending of the analog over-the-air broadcast would "drive" people to the internet stream. In all likelihood, it's one or two DC area PPM meter-wearers who listened enough to the WXPN stream - the numbers, when extrapolated, were enough to make a dent in the ratings.

Probably should have put a "smiley face" or a "grin" at the end of the original post to note that it wasn't to be taken all that seriously.

OK. Sorry to seem so thick witted. I was honestly curious about what streams were changed,if somehow XPN was DXing into DC,etc. I assumed it was via 90.5 WKHS which has a pretty strong signal for being out in the middle of nowhere. Again sorry...just didn't take well to further justification for killing even the "ghost" of Modern/Alternative formats.

Documented proof, please--a bunch of drunken Beavises and Butt-Heads at a concert is not "Philly loves." Numbers, please?
