WASK & WKOA - Lafayette/West Lafayette

1450 WASK & 105-3 WKOA.

These stations have been off-air now Oct. 31st, & Nov. 1st.

Any news on what's going on? Possible transmitter issues?

Something to do with the tower they share at the studio. Due to a lightning hit I believe. Not sure what exact problem is.

I heard they had to swap out the antenna with a new one....since they don't have a back-up....no signal while work is done

That may explain why the scan button on my car stereo hasn't stopped on K105 for the last week.

Both ESPN 1450 and K105 are now back on the air as of Thursday evening.
