So how come Dave Frasier (KT'R Weekday Traffic & Weather On The 9s) sounds like Al Summers (KT'R Weekend Traffic & Weather On The 18s) and vice versa? At times the Nurse and I have a hard time telling which one of us is us..but come on! At least with Dewey Hopper you knew he'd never go by another name!

There is another guy out there who has two names, not sure if its Dennis McBroom or not.

silly stuff

Dennis McBroom uses Jim Nelson ... a long time ago he used the last name "Archer" too, which if I remember the story correctly was the name of the police and fire scanner they had. 8) Lee Powell uses a different name in the afternoon on KTAR too. Hell, back in the day Eric Zotcavage and Dave Teller used a handful of different names too. Maybe it's a "Metro" thing, I don't know anyone at ClearChannel that does that. ;)

Just be thankful that no one on the radio uses the name RadioGuy2006. Can you imagine the traffic and weather reports we would hear? ;D

"Well, someone might have an accident on the 202 and shut down the left lanes of traffic and call it a bad accident."

"Well, we might have some weather today. It could get hot, but then again it might not. It could suddenly rain and blow a lot. We could call it a Monsoon, or something."

:D LOL!!! "Whew!" I just laughed Diet Pepsi out of my nose, but it was soooooooooo worth it! ;D

Someday I like to buy the Loop 202 and only allow bycicles and take it to be the #1 freeway in the valley!

RadioGuy2006 is really one of the weekend newshotties at StuffChannel 3? ;D

Reminds me of Carlin's Hippy-dippy news.

"Tonite's forecast: Dark. Continued darkness until scattered sunlight at dawn" :D

I have been meaning to ask you guys why the pseudonyms???! Is it unseemly for a newscaster or music DJ to do traffic reports? Or, should it not seem the same person works for more than one station? Is it the idea that each station employs its own, mega-staff?
Yes, Dennis McBroom is a.k.a. Jim Nelson and Lee Powell is a.k.a. Bruce Geary.
Dave Frasier is 5 feet tall and Al Summer's hair is five feet long...They are, indeed, two different people! :-*
Al (Alan) is also the producer for Liddy and Hill on KKNT. He used to produce for Ed Walsh on KFYI.

Ya mean Ed "I'm going to ask a question but it will take at least five minutes for me to set it up and then elaborate to the point of confusing not only you but the listeners who are wondering what the hell it is I'm saying while contemplating tuning the dial or turning off the damn radio" Walsh? ::)

I remember when Dennis and Lee were the great KSTM storm troopers....so long ago now...

Dave is actually about five-foot six and Al Summer's hair is only four-feet six inches long, so airchic is off by six inches on both accounts and possibly others. I've already warned her a thousand times not to exaggerate.
