Is WATD part of the Boston market? I see two threads in here now about WATD, and before today, never heard of the station, despite having lived in Boston.

You know I'll be listening, so play me a song, baby..........(you know what I like. ;) )

Can I request "Mustang Sally" for a certain member of the sales dept?

I believe the South Shore is considered within the Boston market, and despite WATD's weak signal up in Boston proper, the station does occasionally make showings in the low end of the published Boston 12+ ratings. It has shown up a few times within the past few years.

I've never lived on the South Shore, but I've been listening to WATD occasionally in the immediate Boston north and west suburbs since it came on the air in 1977, and a lot more often lately. On a good quality home or car receiver it can be heard, though spotty in places, from Boston just about out to Route 128 to the north and west, up the North Shore quite a ways over the water, and of course much farther to the south, especially along the shore.

WATD - where Moulty & the Barbarians rule again! The Mad Session material is great - I got the disc about a year ago. Jay Traynor & The Americans - did anyone see how Jay Black lost the rights to the name Jay Black!
How weird is that? What next, Leslie West going to have to change his name to Leslie Laing if someone goes after him for the name "West?"

WATD is a good reason why we need more independent radio!

Aw, Neggy.....that's so sweet of you.....can you request "Layla" next time?????

I may be showing my age here, but the last 3 minutes or so of Layla is the most beautifull peice of music ever played.

(I see PV is doing 2 to 7 on Labor day)

How does the saying go?..........."like a bad penny"............

I can never hear it anymore without immediately associating it with the montage in Goodfellas where all the dead mobsters turn up in meat lockers and dumpsters.

Sales do you have "trade" with Zachary's?

:)

(sorry guys inside joke)

see you next monday bright and early!

I have no idea what they have planned... who is running that show anyway?

I think the plan is the Mug and then go from there, but I don't have a time yet..

(p.s. I'll have 95.9 on cranking the tunes
