Water Main Break Floods 6ABC WPVI-TV Studios

The channel 6 studios was flooded by a water main break that happened this afternoon. The station was still on the air while the employees evacuated the studios. The break happened shortly after 1:00 PM ET and the flow of water into the building continued until after 3:00 p.m. The water flooded the first floor. As much as 100,000 gallons of water entered the building. They were allowed back in at 3:30 PM ET today and the 5 PM newscast is taking place in its normal studio right now. If anyone is reading this and is working for WPVI or know someone that does work for 6 ABC that was inside when the break happened, tell us what happened from your point of view.
