Waterbury

I had an appointment in Waterbury Friday afternoon and I don't know if it was a fluke but 97.9 WUCS's signal seemed to be much better in the Wolcott Street area of Waterbury than it was the last time I was in the area back 3 1/2 months ago. Sure there was a couple spots where WSKQ from NYC was bleeding in, but for the most part WUCS was very clear.

I forgot to check if the 92.1 translator from Naugatuck for WFAR was on the air or not. 3 1/2 months ago it was on the air, but the signal was poor. The last time I was able to pick up the translator in the parking lot of Bob's in the Naugatuk Valley Shopping Center, but lost the signal when I drove across Wolcott Street to Shoprite Plaza.

I also forgot to check to if the Spanish language pirate on 98.9 was still on the air.
