XM Watercolors

How cool can this get?

I read Lee Abrams' blog, which is excellent and just over the top creative. I always wondered how he ended up pulling a BA person (Steve Stiles) to put Watercolors on the air. Or for that matter not being willing to push the boundaries of the format and not be easy, realxing or pastel. Probably just didn't know it could be done. There is this big gaping territory between Beyond Jazz and Watercolors where the music has some momentum but isn't fusion/progressive/jazz. I'm with the person that commented during the piece in RnR that - Watercolors is better than nothing but they are still taking their cues from the traditionalist approach.
