WATL to My Network TV

As predicted, WATL 36 has signed to be an affiliate of Fox's My Network TV.Took them a long time though. I wonder what the sticking points were.

I wonder if they're going to carry Saturday morning cartoons from Fox's 4 Kids TV? It was formerly know as The Fox Box before WUPA-TV 69 discontined it two years ago in favor of dry programming such as (ugh) informercials.

Why doesn't ABC Channel 2 nor FOX 5 run Saturday morning network programming? Since I can remember FOX 5 has never carried the FOX kids programming, but I've seen it on HOTLANTA 34(back then) and WB36. WSB-TV runs the ABC Disney Channel programming at like 5am Sunday mornings I think.

WSB-TV does run ABC's morning lineup - in part. ABC uses sister entity Disney Channel to provide programming for it (similar to the CBS/Nick Jr. deal). WSB runs the 10AM-Noon Saturday morning lineup as it is feed, and a couple of programs run at 5 AM on Sunday mornings.

WAGA is not the only O&O that has never ran Fox Kids programming. Most O&O's dump it, probably because it has no educational value whatsoever (and they need to meet their 3 hours a week minimum).
