WATV Sold

I don't know where they'd squeeze another FM translator in or from. But I hope they can nab one and keep the station viable.

Very very cool IMO that it's rejoining WJLD 1400 as locally owned.

Maybe W290CN at 105.9, the new translator recently purchased by UAB, if they would be willing to lease and/or sell it. Not much of a signal area with it, but just wondering if that translator couldn't be upgraded to 250 watts. Can't see really any reason why it couldn't be, unless I'm missing something...

WATV may be too late. I just don't see anything else open anymore. I'm about to post a new thread about the recent batch of translator sign-ons and they are really starting to scrape the barrel as far as metro-wide signals go.

Anyway, hasn't UAB committed to putting Blazer Radio on 105.9 at some point?
