Seems a little vocal heavy for my taste, but Evan Marks' "Seaview Drive" is a very nice cut from the late 1990s that's in my rotation. Another old Jones Smooth Jazz classic. As for the Canadian artist thing, there are a number of outstanding Canadian contemporary jazz artists that have never gotten the airplay they should have down here.

Definitely more of a progressive adult contemporary form 45+ than anything do do with contemporary/smooth jazz.. Lots of really old stuff. Pretty tasty list of old stuff though. I played Style Council on my Brunch show in the 80s..I 'd love to see a current oriented equivalent of this. In other words I love real NAC vocals and they are out there..these are real NAC vocals from another era, good ones but what about now? Paul Anka though? That was a stretch.

I'm always looking for interesting vocals so I clicked through about 10 hours. Some real nuggets hidden among the Commodores, Lou Rawls and Vanessa Williams trax. I would definitely call it NAC Oldies. Which makes it the coolest oldies format out there. I played Nicholette Larson-Michael McDonald "Let Me Go Love" on one of my first CJ/Vocal hybrid stations in the early 80s. Cool nostagia there, and they did Maysa/Will Downing "Simple Life"- an incredible song that always lights up the phones and now the tweets..seem to be doing 2-3 instrumentals an hour, mostly BA list stuff and the usual Breezin, Feels So Good 30 YO songs.
